Criticisms Welcome:
Humans always have some opinions to some things, or even everything.
The fact is, everybody gets it wrong sometimes.
Any reasonable person has to admit that some of his opinions might turn out to be incorrect.
The trouble is, we do not know which of our opinions are the wrong ones.
Individually, they all seem very reasonable.
One thing that will help is, to
cultivate an attitude of openess to other people's viewpoints - especially those that contradict our own.Indeed, most of us avoid alternative viewpoints & tend towards those who hold similar opinions.
We are so intent on justifying our own ideas that we do not really engage in what the other person is saying at all.
Everyone has a right to their opinions.
Afterall, those who challenge our own views may present us with the possibility of replacing our current beliefs with new & better ones.
sounds very cliche I know, but worth delving deeper to reflect.
always a reminder to myself (& hopefully for my friends too).
